We would like to have a final headcount NO LATER THAN May 1, 2023. Please RSVP via our website form by using the button on the Homepage or menu, to be ensured you will be included in the count for both our destination ceremony and our alternate Texas ceremony. Email address and phone number are optional, but please consider leaving at least one to stay up-to-date with the latest information!

We have carefully selected and addressed the invitations accordingly, so we are expecting only those named on the invitation for the beach ceremony. Any and all will be welcome at our alternate Texas celebration, though, so make sure to note any extra attendees in this portion of the form.

Please make sure to include your email address and/or cell phone number in your RSVP so we can keep you up-to-date with any necessary information!

While we love all the little ones in our lives, we are requesting NO CHILDREN at the beach ceremony, as we are unable to provide accommodations for anyone under the age of 21. We are looking forward to celebrating with all the kiddos at our alternate Texas celebration!

No, unfortunately the accommodations we have in place do not permit for us to allow more than the invited attendees. We appreciate your understanding!

You are welcome to select whatever accommodations work best for you! While it would be most convenient for you to stay in Garden City, you can also look at Surfside Beach, Murrells Inlet, or even Myrtle Beach, as none are a terribly far trip.

We prefer to rent from Dunes Realty, as Shaunna’s family has used them for many years & had great experiences with all of their stays. Of course, you can always check Airbnb, Vrbo, Hotels.com, or other travel sites to find accommodations that best fit your budget and preferences.

Most places within Garden City are a short walk (or you can rent a golf cart to get around!) and we will make arrangements to help with transportation within the immediate Garden City area, where necessary.

Visit our “Celebrate With Us” page for the address of our beach house – there is also a convenient button that will take you straight to Google Maps and provide directions from your current location.

If you are staying near the beach house, it would be best to walk along the beach to get to the ceremony. However, for those staying out of town and driving in, there are several public parking options within walking distance.

This reference guide provides information about public parking areas; the nearest two to us are Oak Avenue & Anglers Dr, but Pine, Magnolia, Yaupon, and the parking area at The Pier at Garden City are all close enough for an easy walk. Unfortunately, there will not be room for parking at our location.

The wedding ceremony is planned for 6:45pm. Please plan to arrive at least 60 minutes early to ensure you are able to find parking and get a seat before the ceremony begins.

After the ceremony, we will provide refreshments and cocktails for those in attendance, and during this time, family and couple photographs will be taken.

We will be setting off our own fireworks and enjoying our first dance right after dark. There is no formal reception planned otherwise, but after the fireworks we will likely walk down to The Pier or other local establishments for a few drinks and an after party celebration.

Keep it simple and comfortable! Be sure to dress light and breezy, since the air will be warm and humid. For ladies, a nice sundress or capri pants and sandals is ideal. For the guys, khaki slacks or nice khaki shorts, linen shirts and sandals would be comfortable. Please, no jeans or cargo shorts, and NO WHITE DRESSES!

We have selected the following color scheme if you would like to find something to match our preferred colors – just pick a color that suits you best! And our theme is “stars” (ie, stars, starfish, etc.) and “sand/sandcastles” if you want some extra inspiration!

We are planning activities throughout the week to be able to spend time with everyone, as well as together alone. We plan to spend the majority of our time relaxing on the beach, but we will be sure to post any updates here on our website and send out email blasts for any planned outings or activities we would love for you to accompany us at!

Yes, you may take your own photos at any time during the celebration. However, we ask that you wait until 7 days after the ceremony to post to your own social media accounts, to allow us our own time and space to do so.

We would love for you to tag us in any of the photos you take on our Facebook pages (@ Jared Erwin & Shaunna Rooskie) and you can use the hashtags #JaredAndShaunna, #JaredAndRooskie & #BeachErwins2023 to mark your photos if you desire!

And please, share your photos with us after the ceremony – you can text them to either of us or email them to erwins@jaredandrooskie.com – we would love to see all your candid shots!

We are going to try our best to live stream the ceremony, first dance & fireworks, for our family and friends to be able to join in if they are unable to come to the beach.

Check back on this page for more information, and be sure to include your email address or phone number with your RSVP, so we can provide you with a link to the live stream prior to the ceremony.

We absolutely do not expect any gifts – your presence at our celebration is a gift in itself!

If you really want to get us something, you can check our our Honeyfund registry page to contribute to our wedding, or find a unique letter “E” decoration we can add to our “Wall of E’s” in our home!

If you prefer to mail a gift, please email us at erwins@jaredandrooskie.com and we will share our mailing address.

There are absolutely hundreds of great things to do in the Myrtle Beach area!

Restaurants to suit any taste can be found at every turn. Millstone Biscuit Co. is absolutely our favorite breakfast/brunch place in the Garden City area.

The Pier at Garden City and other piers in the area offer fishing, sightseeing and in some cases food and drink. Garden City Pavilion Arcade & GiGi’s Grill is a fun local spot to grab a burger and play some arcade games!

Broadway at the Beach is a massive complex of shops, restaurants, tourist attractions and more that we enjoy visiting during our stays. There is also an abundance of super-fun mini golf courses, tons of beach souvenir shops (check out Gay Dolphin Gift Cove & SkyWheel Myrtle Beach), and other tourist attractions all over the area for an evening of fun recreation.

And of course, anywhere you can get oceanfront beach time is a MUST DO!

We will post any updates or changes in plans to this page (“FAQs”) of this website. Be sure to check back here often for the latest info!

And don’t forget to include your email address or cell phone number in your RSVP to stay up-to-date with all of the wedding information and plans.

Jared and Shaunna are both available via text or call to help with any questions or concerns you might have. If you don’t have one or both of our cell phone numbers, please let us know in your RSVP under comments/questions so we can be sure to share it with you.

Alternately, you can email us at erwins@jaredandrooskie.com for any additional help you might need!
